All year long the members of the Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn have two goals in mind; first, too lessen the suffering of those less fortunate and second, to give young people the possibility of growing and becoming profitable citizens of the United States.

Those pictured here represent only a few of the over 20 Community Organizations and schools that have received grant awards this month.

To that end in several recent meetings the Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn has awarded scholarships to nine deserving students and most recently we have awarded over $20,000 in Local Community grants to around 15 organizations. Some of these are: Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, Shelter Box, YMCA, Glen Ellyn Youth and Family Services, PADs, CASA, Humanitarian Service Project, Easter Seals, Glen Ellyn Library Summer Reading Program, School District 41, School District 89, Glenbard South, Glenbard West, Just DuPage, NAMI, Ray Graham,  and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.
