Dear Friends and Clients, The Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn is currently conducting its 21st annual Citrus Sale to benefit high school scholarships, local charitable organizations and the community. Last year, the club supported the Salvation Army, Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, Peoples Resource Center, Wheaton Youth Outreach, Humanitarian Service Project and DuPage Community Center with citrus donations of over 150 cases! The club offers fresh Florida oranges and grapefruit which will arrive about two weeks before Christmas. The fruit is picked and packaged on Monday or Tuesday of the delivery week and available for pick-up or delivery (orders of 10 cases or more) on Friday and Saturday of the same week. Wow is that fresh! The fruit can be gifts for friends, family, clients, employees or just great for eating. You may also purchase fruit to be donated to one of the charities mentioned above and delivery will be taken care of by the Rotary Club. Full cases and half cases are available. Please consider purchasing the full case and giving the other half as a gift to friend or neighbor. You may also specify the other half to be donated to charity.   The price of this premium fruit is $28 per case for oranges and pink grapefruit. A case of fruit is approximately 4/5 bushel. We are expecting a another great crop this year due to the favorable weather in Florida. This usually means very juicy fruit! If you have purchased Citrus from the Rotary Club in previous years, we thank you for your support and hope to gain your continued support.
